Terms of Use

The rules, responsibilities and limits that apply when you use the service.

Last updated: 20 September 2026

1. What the service is

HexShield is a security layer that filters HTTP/HTTPS traffic to protected domains. The service is provided "as is"; no absolute guarantee can be given that a particular attack will be stopped.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the security of your account. Do not share your password, do not reuse it elsewhere, and report any suspicious access immediately through a support ticket.

3. Domain ownership

You may only add domains you are authorised over. Adding someone else's domain is grounds for closing your account. If the bare/www variant of a domain is registered to another account, the system refuses the addition.

4. Prohibited uses

You may not use the service to:

  • Host or distribute illegal content
  • Operate malware, phishing pages or fraud infrastructure
  • Attack other people's systems or conceal the source of such attacks
  • Deliberately overload the service's infrastructure

Breaching these results in suspension without prior notice.

5. Your origin server

The security, patching and content of your origin server are your responsibility. HexShield does not close the vulnerabilities of the application it sits in front of; it narrows the attack surface. Setting your origin address to a private or reserved network range is not permitted.

6. Fees and cancellation

The Pro plan is charged monthly, in advance, and covers up to 2 protected domains; additional domains can be arranged via support. Payment is made in cryptocurrency via NOWPayments. You may cancel at any time; protection continues to the end of the paid period. You have an unconditional right to a refund within the first 7 days.

7. Limitation of liability

We are not liable for indirect damages arising from service interruption, an attack passing the filter, or a visitor being blocked in error. Our total liability is limited to the fee you paid for the month concerned. Our service level commitment and credit terms are on the Service Level page.

8. Changes

When these terms change, notice is sent to the email address on your account at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not accept the change you may cancel and receive a refund for the remaining period.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts of Istanbul have jurisdiction over disputes.
